Travel Demand Forecasting

Traffic Impact Studies
iTRANS has extensive experience with developers and municipalities in evaluating the transportation implications of development, and in securing development approvals. Parking Studies
iTRANS has undertaken area-wide parking studies for municipalities and site-specific parking studies in support of individual development proposals. Services include: parking standards review, parking policy review, parking surveys, parking demand forecasts, design of parking facilities, site plan review, research, and expert testimony.

Traffic Calming
iTRANS brings a multi-faceted approach to help municipalities address traffic problems in residential communities - speeding traffic, traffic infiltration, and pedestrian and traffic safety. Consulting with local residents, we obtain an objective and thorough understanding of their traffic concerns. We are able to assess the traffic safety impacts and effectiveness of alternative traffic calming measures, such as traffic controls, pavement markings, speed humps, traffic diverters, chokers, and raised intersections. iTRANS brings unique traffic safety expertise to quantitatively assess traffic safety impacts. Our experience includes the development of traffic calming policies for municipalities, and traffic management plans for existing and new communities.
